    1. just an fyi you don't need a spacer to achieve that nice effect of snapping to the gap on a scroll snap carousel. there's a css property called "padding" which you can also use. this demo took 7 minutes: codepen.io/andybelldesign/pen/qBOBMRo much easier (and semantic) than a spacer
