      1. I’ve recently populated my discogs collection, so to celebrate, we’re going to listen to my top 10 albums together. Here’s the collection: discogs.com/user/piccalilli/collection?page=1&sort=artist%2Casc&folder=0&limit=250 First up, it’s Acceptance Speech by Dance Gavin Dance. A beautiful post-hardcore classic. album.link/s/0i5fg8UAk0KU074O2fC8Pe

discogs Next up, it’s a certified classic and concludes with everyone’s favourite: “Africa” It’s Toto’s best album: Toto IV album.link/s/62U7xIHcID94o20Of5ea4D

discogs Next up: a certified hip hop *banger*. The Grey Album is by Dangermouse, who took The Black Album by Jay-Z and The White Album by The Beatles. I’ve got an “unofficial release” which is effectively bootleg: discogs.com/Danger-Mouse-Jay-Z-The-Grey-Album/release/316913 Soundcloud: soundcloud.com/alan-villanueva-4/sets/the-grey-album

discogs Staying with hip hop and Dangermouse, we have The Mouse and the Mask by Dangerdoom, which is Dangermouse and MF Doom. This one has been one of my all-time favourite hip hop albums since it dropped back in ’05 album.link/s/6vAKENvwUSLMUAWYruV9sw

discogs Next up, a production *masterclass*: Linkin Park’s Reanimation album. It’s Hybrid Theory, re-worked and re-mixed into a stunning album. album.link/s/1OZ7GnepAtCfGivyYPCWUM

discogs Right, we are in the top 5 now: the business end. I’m a *huge* Biffy Clyro fan—I’ve never seen another band more live (probs 15+ shows). It was a toss-up between this or Vertigo Of Bliss, but this pips it: it’s Infinity Land! album.link/s/2jjgdp5p0z38vmJS5sT0LU This intro is :chefs-kiss:

discogs Right, if you haven’t heard this album, I urge you to listen to sit down, get comfy, get the volume up and let this first track *consume you*. #4 on the top ten is Relativity by Emarosa. A powerful, melodic and extremely technical album. A *must* listen album.link/s/42QT0gBnEJbmo10gAL1m32

discogs Right, top 3 time. If you were to ask me “what’s your favourite ever hip hop album, Andy?” I would—without even a microsecond of hesitation—answer with The Cold Vein by Cannibal Ox. It’s a *fucking masterpiece* and perfect in every way. album.link/s/6fquTSHubECT65PJdRiMk1

discogs Getting right into it now and these last two have been tussling for the top for *years*. By just a whisker, my second favourite album is The Artist In The Ambulance by non-other, than Thrice. Thrice are my all-time favourite band still, though. album.link/s/7yu7B1B8O07jAFAZEFSRXA

discogs Time for #1 and probably no surprise to most that know me: it’s White Pony by Deftones. Deftones are just incredible and this album doesn’t have even a bad bar in it. Perfection. This was one of the main soundtracks to my teenage years and still is now album.link/s/5LEXck3kfixFaA3CqVE7bC
